OUR MISSION
Creating non-judgmental, respectful environments for adults with Lived Experiences of Childhood Sexual Abuse

Our aim is to create non-judgmental, respectful environments for adults with Lived Experiences of Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA) primarily that which has taken place within the family unit, or by individuals connected to the child victims of this crime.
We have three key aims:

-
Peer/mentoring support
-
Promoting social awareness of sexual abuse
-
Facilitate CSA Awareness workshops
Release into Victory is a Christian based organisation, we welcome interest from individuals of all or no faiths. We are a fully accredited National Occupational Standards Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) service.

Our aim is to provides safe and inclusive spaces, where survivors/victims of CSA can work towards recovery, drawing on strength and support from peer team members. We explore common issues that victim/survivors can find challenging, for example relationships, self-esteem, lack of confidence, addictions and recovery and the long term impact on mental health.

We facilitate a variety of health & wellbeing projects,
exploring person centered approaches to recovery processes.
Individual survivors connected to our service tell us that it can be liberating to share stories and validate their experiences. We are able to provide mutual encouragement, and reduce the feelings of isolation which is often experienced by survivors.

Specialist training and knowledge gained by our team over a twelve year period, enabled us to develop our CSA Awareness workshops, these are designed to provide a basic, yet informative overview of common core issues and challenges, barriers to disclosure and accessing support which survivors often have to contend with.

Public speaking and community engagement provide opportunity for open and honest dialogue in regards to the taboo topic of CSA. As a service, believe that secrecy and silence associated with this crime serves to protect perpetrators as well as continuing to stigmatize and revictimize survivors.
